Align Magazine is a student art and culture publication that I had the opportunity to co-art direct alongside Phoenix Wokedi for the Evergreen issue. This shoot is based on the everlasting tradition of tea culture. It combines a high-tea-style shoot with a more modern interpretation of this concept.
Modeling
Align Magazine is a collaborative experience where students build meaningful connections with one another. In addition to my role as an Art Director, I’ve also had the opportunity to model for several shoots. Stepping in front of the camera has given me a behind-the-scenes look at the entire process of putting a shoot together. This perspective has not only deepened my appreciation for the Art Director’s role but also inspired me to work on set and continue learning about the creative process from all angles.
